cosmic_loom.jpgDennis Elwell (born 1930 in Stourbridge, England) is a British astrologer who began lecturing astrology worldwide in 1963, gaining a reputation as an original thinker who was an advocate for the rehabilitation of astrology. He wrote Cosmic Loom - The new science of astrology and published it for the first time in 1987. As he wrote in the preface, it is a book recommended to the "intelligent inquirer", a book about the philosophy of astrology, about the principles which lies behind astrology. The book starts with a great statement: "the greatest truth in the world is also the most neglected", in fact a synthesis of the situation in which astrology is and was in the last centuries.

A French national, Mr. Strauss-Kahn was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, on April 25, 1949 and spent his early years in Morocco.

Dominique Strauss-Kahn assumed office as the tenth Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund on November 1, 2007. Upon being selected by the IMF's Board of Executive Directors, Mr. Strauss-Kahn indicated that he will press ahead with reform of the 186-member country institution that helps oversee the global economy.

Circe's father was Helios, the god of the Sun and the owner of the land where Odysseus' men ate cattle, and her mother was Hecate, a goddess of witchcraft. She was sister of two kings of Colchis, Aeetes and Perses, and of Pasiphaë, mother of the Minotaur.

Circe transformed her enemies, or those who offended her, into animals through the use of magical potions. She was renowned for her knowledge of drugs. She was skilled in the magic of metamorphosis, the power of illusion, and the dark art of necromancy.

1. The Moon, the Four Phases of the Feminine

Here is some theory about the Moon symbolism. Among many ideas I would like to point out that the Moon does not represent necessarily the women but the archetypal feminine, yin, in Chinese philosophy. And this energies can be found in men too.

Then he writes about one of his theories (presented also in Horoscope Symbols) who tells that nowadays the feminine archetypal is repressed and some functions like moods, feelings, unconscious drives are underestimated.
