No! I am not one of the 192 scientists who denounced astrology in the famous article “Objections to astrology”, published in The Humanist of September/October 1975. I am an astrologer and I believe astrology works! I believe astrology can be a very useful tool for many purposes like discovering yourself and others, understanding why some events are happening, gaining wisdom etc. 

But, in the same time, I think a big part of the present astrology is only a beautiful story which is not real, is not verified and does not pass the exam of applying theory in practice. There are people who proudly present all kind of philosophies and abstract methods, but are not willing to practically verify what they say, they run from clear statements or predictions. They are manipulating others through astrology, trying to get unfair advantages from them and, more dangerous, influencing them to think in a wrong direction. I think this is the worst thing to happen because, especially when someone is beginning to learn, guiding him in a bad direction will have undesirable consequences for a long term and all the notions learned in this period will be hard to change.

So, we should take care of how we use astrology and we should try to make a clear distinction between what is useful, precious, recognized by the astrological society and what is worthless, ephemeral , weak, confusing.  In this way we will help ourselves and make the study of astrology easier. On this web site, I will try to do this by analyzing astrology books, techniques, methods, events. I will be a critic of astrology.
